Rospotrebnadzor: Black Sea resorts are ready for the summer season
According to official information from Rospotrebnadzor (statement by the head of the department, Anna Popova, dated April 18, 2025), the tourist season on the Black Sea coast of Russia starts as planned. The situation is under constant monitoring by specialists — studies of seawater, sand, air, drinking water, fish and seafood are carried out on a daily basis.
Sochi and Crimea are among the most stable and safe destinations.
Resorts from Novorossiysk to Sochi inclusive (Sochi, Tuapse, Gelendzhik, Lazarevskoye, etc.) entered the zone of low epidemiological risk. There are no deviations in the quality of water and beach areas, and the features of the currents provide additional protection. Monitoring continues around the clock.
The sanitary situation in Crimea and Sevastopol also remains stable. All observed local emissions were promptly eliminated and did not affect the overall condition. The regions are ready for a full-fledged summer reception of tourists.
A number of natural indicators are being intensively monitored in Anapa and Temryuk district. According to official data, the conditions for recreational and sightseeing holidays are preserved here, the tourist infrastructure is functioning, and the holiday season will be adapted to the current situation.
